Losing weight is hard

I finally lost again. Sheesh! After two weeks of gaining,I would have been happy with just not gaining, but this week I lost 1.5 lbs. Woohoo! I really, really, really can't wait until I hot 199. It seems so far away but the reality is that it is only 6 lbs. Boy it feels like those 6 lbs are going to take forever...


I have come to the conclusion that I do not like exercise. I know - who does, right? I really, really don't like exercise. I mean, I will walk all day long, but anything else just isn't going to happen. I wish I were the kind of person who could exercise without thinking twice, but I am not. I would rather have a root canal than exercise. Hopefully someday that will change, but as of right now, I will just continue to walk daily.

Sometimes it is hard to sit in my meetings and hear that people lose 8lbs (or whatever) their first week. Now of course, everyone loses more their first week. Of course you do - you drastically change what and how much you are eating and drinking. I have been at this for almost a year (June 22) and sometimes I get discouraged. Losing my 1 lb a week (or whatever it may be) just isn't as exciting as it used to be and unfortunately, that feeling is happening more and more. I have got to kick myself in the ass and get over it.

Easier said than done, but I am trying...

oh tell me about it-exercising is HARD LOL--never liked it-even as a kid-hate to sweat! LOL (a girl thing I guess) The most I ever lost in a week was I guess 3pounds...and it is frustrating to exercise and exercise and not see more of a change..... ;) hang in there
